Services are what your clients book and pay for. Every service belongs to one of your categories, has one or more price options (called variants), and can include an optional deposit and the team members who provide it. Your active services are shown on your booking page, which is where clients book you from your directory listing and your website.
This article walks you through everything on the Services page: adding a service, setting up pricing, assigning your team, taking deposits, and keeping your list organized.
Where to find it: At the top right of the page, click the grid icon (Navigation Panel) and choose Storefront, then click Services in the left menu.

Before you start
- Add at least one category. Services are organized by category (for example, Real Estate Photography or Headshots). The category you picked during onboarding is already set up. To add more, go to Storefront > Categories. You can also create your own category straight from the Services page by choosing + Add Custom Category in the category list.
- Add your team first (optional). If other people on your team will provide this service, add them on the Team page before you create it, so you can assign them as you go.
- Connect Stripe to take payments online. Clients can only pay for a service or a deposit online after your Stripe account is connected to RebookMedia.
Add a new service
- Open the Services page (Navigation Panel > Storefront > Services).
- Use the category list at the top of the page to pick the category this service belongs to. The list below it shows only the services in that category.
- Click Add Service. The Add New Service window opens.
- Enter a Service Title. This is the name clients see when they book, so make it clear and specific (for example, "Listing Photos and Drone Package").
- Under Select a category, confirm the category. It is pre-selected with the category you were viewing.
- Choose the Service Type: Main Service for something clients book on its own, or Add-on for an extra they add to a main service. See Offer add-ons below.
- Leave Active ticked if clients should be able to book this service right away. Untick it to save the service as hidden and finish it later.
- In the Price and Duration list, choose your pricing type. See Choose a pricing type below.
- Fill in the first variant under Pricing Details (name, image or video, price, duration and description). Click Add Variant to add more price options.
- Under Service Providers, tick who provides this service and set their payout (optional).
- Click Add Service. The page refreshes and your new service appears in the list.
Tip: If something on the form needs fixing, you will see a "Please check the form for errors" message, and the field with the problem is marked in red.
Choose a pricing type
The pricing type controls what extra details you enter for each variant. Every pricing type still has a price and a duration for each variant.
- Price and Duration (default): a price and a length of time for each option. Best for most sessions, for example a 60-minute headshot session.
- Square Footage: adds a Minimum Sq. Ft. and Maximum Sq. Ft. to each variant. Use it when your price depends on property size, for example "Up to 1,500 sq ft" and "1,501 to 3,000 sq ft".
- People (Guests/Audience): adds a Minimum People and Maximum People to each variant. Use it for events where the price depends on the number of guests.
- Sale Price: adds a Minimum Sale Price and Maximum Sale Price to each variant. Use it when your price depends on the property's listing price.
Add variants (price options)
A variant is one price option a client can choose. A service with a single price has one variant; a package with tiers (for example Basic, Standard and Premium) has one variant per tier. Each variant has:
- Variant Name: the name of this option, for example "Standard - 25 photos".
- Image/Video: an optional picture or short clip that shows what the client gets. Accepted files are JPG, PNG, MP4 and MOV, up to 8 MB. Videos can be up to 15 seconds long.
- Price: what the client pays for this option, in dollars and cents.
- Duration (minutes): how long the job takes. This is used when clients pick a time on your booking page.
- Variant Description: what is included, up to 500 characters.
- The minimum and maximum fields for your pricing type, if you chose one other than Price and Duration.
In your service list, the Price column shows the price when a service has one variant, and shows "Variants" when it has more than one.
Assign team members and payouts
The Service Providers table lists you and the active team members who are set up to provide services. Tick each person who can do this job.
- For each person, choose how they are paid for this service: $ (a fixed amount per unit) or % (a percentage of the line total).
- A $ payout can't be more than the lowest variant price, and a % payout can't be more than 100.
- The payout boxes unlock once every variant has a price.
- Payouts are optional. Leave them at 0.00 if you don't track pay per service.
Don't see a team member? Only active team members who are set as service providers appear here. Check their settings on the Team page.
Edit a service
- On the Services page, choose the category, then click Update next to the service.
- The Edit Service window opens with these sections: Service details, Pricing, Deposit, Team members and More actions. Click a section heading to open or close it. Each heading shows a short summary, such as the number of variants and the starting price.
- Make your changes. Changes to Service details, Deposit and Team members save automatically. You will see "Saving..." and then "Saved" next to the section.
- Close the window when you are done. Your list updates without reloading the page.
Change, add or remove a variant
- Change a variant: in the Pricing section, click Edit on the variant card, make your changes, then click Save. Variants save one card at a time, so remember to click Save on each one.
- Add a variant: click + Add variant, fill in the new card, then click Save.
- Remove a variant: click Delete on the card, then click Confirm delete within a few seconds. If you don't confirm, the button goes back to normal and nothing is deleted.
Turn a service on or off
In Service details, tick or untick Active. Active services can be booked and are shown on your booking page. Inactive services are hidden from clients but stay in your list, so you can turn them back on at any time, for example for seasonal offers.
Require a deposit
A deposit asks clients to pay part of the price when they book online, which helps protect you from last-minute cancellations.
- Open the service with Update and expand the Deposit section.
- Tick Require a deposit.
- Choose the Deposit type: Fixed amount ($) or Percentage of price (%).
- Enter the amount. It saves automatically.
Deposit rules:
- A deposit that is turned on needs an amount.
- A percentage can't be more than 100%.
- A fixed amount can't be more than the service's lowest variant price.
To stop asking for a deposit, untick Require a deposit. The Deposit heading then shows "Off".
Offer add-ons
Add-ons are extras clients can add to a main service, such as prints, twilight photos, drone shots or rush delivery.
- Create the service as usual and set Service Type to Add-on.
- Under Link to Service(s) (in the Edit window: Offer this add-on with), tick the main services this add-on can be added to.
- Set its price and variants like any other service.
When a client books one of the linked main services, the add-on is offered as an extra.
Organize your services
- Switch categories: use the category list at the top of the page. The list updates in place. Inactive categories are labeled "(Inactive)", and archived categories are hidden.
- Search: type in the search box to filter the services in the selected category by title.
- Reorder: drag a service by the dotted handle on the left of its row and drop it where you want it. The new order saves automatically and is the order clients see.
Duplicate or delete a service
Both options are in the More actions section of the Edit Service window.
- Duplicate service makes a copy of the service with its variants, deposit and team. It is a quick way to create a similar package. Click Duplicate service, then Confirm duplicate.
- Delete service removes the service from your list and your booking page. Click Delete service, then Confirm delete. If you might need the service again, consider making it inactive instead.
Plan limits
Your plan includes a set number of active services. The top of the Services page shows your allowance and how many you are using, for example "Available Services: 5 (3 used)". The count covers all your categories, and inactive services don't count.
When you reach your limit:
- The Add Service button shows an upgrade option instead.
- A new or duplicated service is saved as inactive, and you will see a message telling you so.
- Turning another service on is blocked; the Active box unticks itself.
To make room, turn off a service you no longer offer, or upgrade your plan for more services.
Troubleshooting
My service doesn't appear on my booking page
- Check that the service is Active.
- Check that its category is active on the Categories page and not archived.
- Make sure the service has at least one variant with a price.
The page says "Add a category to start adding services"
You don't have any categories yet. Click the button to go to the Categories page, add a category, then come back to Services.
The Active box keeps unticking itself
You have reached your plan's limit of active services. Turn off another service first, or upgrade your plan.
My image or video won't upload
- Use a JPG, PNG, MP4 or MOV file of 8 MB or less.
- Videos must be 15 seconds or shorter.
- Some MOV files can't be read by the browser. If a MOV file is rejected, convert it to MP4 and try again.
I can't type in the payout boxes, or I see a pay rate error
Enter a price for every variant first; the payout boxes unlock after that. If you see "A $ pay rate can't be more than the lowest variant price, and a % can't be more than 100", lower the payout or switch between $ and %.
A team member is missing from the Service Providers list
Only active team members who are set as service providers are listed. Open the Team page and check that person's status and settings.
